This week we met with one of my favorite people in all of denmark two times this week and it was really amazing! He is a member who stopped coming to church a few years ago and he is one of the sweetest and most down to earth people. He really opened up to us this week about concerns that he has with the church and about his relationship with Christ. One thing that he really talked about was that whenever he did feel like he wanted to strengthen his relationship with Christ, he felt that he can always come back to Christ. Which is so true and I am way grateful for that, that we can always work our way back to Christ and He will accept and love us.
We also had a real good chat with our dear friend who's husband is a member of the church and she expressed how she someday really wants to be in the Celestial Kingdom but she just isn't sure she wants to do the things she needs to do in order to get there. But we also were able to talk to her about her concerns with baptism and what is holding her back from the church and it was really great to be able to talk to her about that and now I feel like we know what we need to talk about and what we can focus to help her so that she can get to the Celestial kingdom with her husband.
Another one of our investigators who is trying to quit smoking has gone from smoking 20 cigarettes a day to smoking less than 10 a day in the last month! He is so sweet and has been working so hard so that he can overcome this addiction so he can be baptized and he sincerely wants to come unto Christ which is so great.
Okay and for the last miracle to report for this week you are going to have to go back to find my first three sundays in denmark. Remember the albanian family that we taught my first few sundays? Then they moved to a different ward and the missionaries there continued teaching them? THE WHOLE FAMILY WAS BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY. It is so amazing to see that they have accepted the gospel and come so far! The church is true and miracles happen.
