Hej Familie!
Highlights from the week!
1. We went on splits in Esbjerg and I got to be with Sister Rovig which was super fun and great! We did a lot of finding and found a new investigator for them there. It was beautiful and there were a lot of really great people who we talked to. I also just really love Sister Rovig (We were companions for three months) and we had some really great talks while we were together.
2. We have this way great investigator who we met with a couple of times this week and he is progressing so good! He really wants to follow Christ and to come back to his faith in God. He has been reading from the Book of Mormon and praying which are the most essential things to finding you testimony of Christ and Joseph Smith so that is just really exciting.
3. We had a district activity and we hiked up a "mountain" called Himmel Bjerg and it was so pretty! It was really fun to be outside in the forest and hiking. It had a beautiful view of a huge lake and a lot of cute little Danish towns.
4. We had some friends in church on Sunday and after church we had a great lesson with our friends who come from Syria who speak a little danish and no english. So we had another lesson using google translate the whole time and it was just so great to really communicate with them about who God and Christ are.
5. Quote of the week comes from one of the Silkeborg Elders' investigator who fixed up all of our bikes before we went on our hike to Himmel Bjerg, he said, "I think at night the devil sends little demons to destroy missionary bikes because I don't know how else your bikes could get so wrecked."
Well I hope that you all have a really great week!
love ya!
