Hello!
So I have now been in Copenhagen almost a week and it is amazing! I love it so much! this has been the most exhausting, frustrating and amazing week ever! First of all I got to go to a baptism, which was AMAZING! Her name is Jette and she is just an incredible person and we will be teaching her the lessons again starting this week so I guess I already have one baptism under my belt ;). The Danish is coming, I think, I have a really hard time understanding the people because here around Copenhagen everyone talks really fast and slurs all of their words together. But it will come I actually have started to be able to follow some conversations about gospel topics and participate in some of them which has been really exciting! We have seen miracles everyday here as we have tried to get the baptism ready and visit people and teach them. For transportation we ride trains and ride bikes but on Tuesday we are getting a car because we are currently living in Danshøj which is about 30 minutes from our area so that will be so nice. And we will have the car until the first week of October which is when we will move into a different apartment which is actually in our area.
My companion is Sister Rigby and she is amazing! She is so close to all of the members of our ward and they all love her here so we work very closely with the members in our ward. This is actually her last transfer here too so it is a little weird but she is fantastic! However it does seem like together we have absolutely terrible luck, this week the baptism almost didn't happen, my bike fell apart while I was riding it on Friday (Don't worry I am fine), we got seperated while getting trains for about 15 minutes before she could get back to the station that I was at, it has rained so hard the tracks of the trains flooded so it took us two hours of train rides, bus rides and riding two Elder's bikes to get to church. It has been an adventurous week but I love it so much and it has all paid off! the baptism happened, we taught an Albanian family in church (when we got there) and have a full week planned. I love it here and I love the people here! Thanks for all the support and love!
