So Tuesday we had zone conference with all of the missionaries on Sjælland which was super great and our theme for this month is faith to find so we talked a lot about Things we can do to find and our mission is doing a 50 day fast where every companionship fasts for one day until the end of the year and as a mission our goal is for each companionship to find two new investigators every week. Then we had a huge thanksgiving lunch that the senior couple missionaries made for us, Then we had a turkey bowl! And that was super fun! Totally got a couple touchdowns and interceptions. But then we have been just talking to people constantly and holy cow we have found 5 new investigators this week and there is so much potential!
It is just amazing how the Lord has blessed us. So one of the ladies that we met is from Iran and she said she would love for us to come give her a Book of Mormon in Persian and that we should bring some extras and some in Arabic because she has a whole community of Christian people from Iran who would be interested too. WHAT. Then we met a lady who lived in the USA for a lot of her life and her best friend was Mormon so she said we could come by someday and give her a Book of Mormon and have some tea (herbal tea, I hope). Then we also met with this family who were kind of interested but they want to do more research, but we asked them if there was anyone they new that would be interested in hearing about the Book of Mormon too and they told about three of their neighbors who they thought could be interested. So we got Jonathan Leit, (Bishops's son, just back from his mission, super awesome guy) to come with us to visit these families and two of them were home and we had two of the most interesting lessons I have ever had that were both a mix of Danish and English because the people were from Iran and are trying to learn both languages. It was just a ton of miracles. It was just amazing. oh my goodness.
Then on Saturday night and Sunday we had Stake Conference which is all of Sjælland and that was super fantastic! Jette bore her testimony and it was really just amazing, then on Sunday like 5 out of the 7 talks were people from my ward which was super awesome and then Thomas Kofod spoke too and he is the guy who played Christ in the Finding Faith in Christ and The Testaments videos (He is Danish!) . That was really neat to hear from him, he talked a little bit about what it was like playing Christ in those movies and it was just fantastic.
Then today we got transfer calls and.... I AM TRANSFERRING TO ÅRHUS, which is the second biggest city in Denmark and it is on Jylland (You can just look on your map). This is where Sister Ripa just served before she came here so she is going to tell me all about it! :D My new companion will be Sister Roveig and I have heard that she is great, she has been in the land about 6 weeks now. I am so excited. A Little sad because Gladsaxe 2 Ward is seriously like the best Ward ever but excited because Århus is going to be amazing!
