This week has been super great! We learned a lot and have found a lot of potential people to teach in this NeXT week, which is super exciting!
So we have been teaching this man named Jamshid (That is not a Danish name, he is from Iran but has lived here and in Sweden at least 20 years now) and he has a lot of really great questions that can all be answered through the gospel. It has been really exciting to get to teach him because he really wants to know why we were created and why there haven't been prophets since Christ. He has a really great knowledge on stories from the Old Testament and Quoran and about different muslim and islam religions so that has been really interesting. But it was so exciting because he came to church yesterday! He said that he felt really good and welcomed here and that he wants to learn more. It was a super great experience with the Ward too because a ton of people reached out to him and our mission leader even taught a class just for him so that we could really address his concerns and needs. It was just a super great experience having him there.
We have still been doing a lot of finding and it is so exciting to meet so many different people and to see how the Lord is preparing them. We met with a lady named Susanne WHO was a previous investigator WHO had met with Sisters almost a year ago but then stopped and so we went to visit her and she said how she missed meeting with the sisters and has been praying still and that she would love to meet with us some more. So that is super great. We also have been trying more knocking, which isn't always very fun or the most effective finding method so we don't do it very much just around our appointments and stuff. And Sister Ripa and I have been getting a lot of practice of approaching people, which has been kind of fun. A funny thing that almost everyone does is if they aren't interested they will say that they don't have time right now, so then we will ask when is a better time that we could come back and then they pause and think then they say, We aren't really interested. It is definitely an adventure because you never know what you will find of the other side of the door.
